1. Product Introduction

The ZDY series is a parallel-shaft, single-stage, hardened helical gear reducer. It is a fundamental series specified in the Chinese machinery industry standard (JB/T8853-2001) and is one of the most widely used hardened gear reducers.

The name "ZDY" has standardized meanings:

  • Z: Stands for "Zhu" (Cylindrical) Gear.

  • D: Stands for "Dan" (Single) Stage.

  • Y: Stands for "Ying" (Hardened) Tooth Surface.

The gears are meticulously manufactured from high-quality alloy steel (e.g., 20CrMnTi) through carburizing, quenching, and grinding processes. This results in high tooth surface hardness (HRC58-62) and high gear precision (Grade 6 per GB/T10095).
