The SK series is a line of large-capacity, high-efficiency liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors designed and manufactured in China. Compared to the SZB series, the SK series offers significantly greater pumping capacity and higher vacuum levels, positioning it as a medium to large industrial-grade liquid ring pump. Its core working principle is the same as all liquid ring pumps: an eccentrically mounted impeller rotates within the pump casing, forming a liquid ring. The sealed chambers between the liquid ring and impeller blades change volume cyclically to achieve gas intake, compression, and discharge.
A key feature of this series is its dual functionality as both a vacuum pump and a compressor. When used for suction, it is a vacuum pump. When its inlet is connected to the atmosphere (or a gas source) and its outlet to a system, it functions as a low-pressure compressor, delivering compressed gas typically at discharge pressures not exceeding 0.1-0.2 MPa (G).
